The year 2025 was a special moment for Indonesia as we celebrated the 80th Independence Day of Indonesia. To celebrate this historic occasion, Multimedia Nusantara School (MNS) proudly organized a series of activities to build a sense of patriotism, togetherness, and national pride among students.
The celebration began with a respectful Independence Day flag ceremony. All students, teachers, and school staff stood proudly as they sang the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya. This moment reminded us of the struggles and sacrifices of the heroes who gave their lives for Indonesia’s independence.
After the ceremony, the school became full of laughter, excitement, and joy. Students took part in various activities, including traditional Indonesian Independence Day games, classroom decoration competitions with an Independence Day theme, and traditional Indonesian food tasting sessions. These activities were not only fun, but also helped students develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and creativity.
Cheers and laughter could be heard throughout the school. The students ran, laughed, and took on each challenge with great enthusiasm. From simple games such as sack races to more creative competitions, every activity showed that the spirit of independence continues to live in the hearts of the younger generation. At the end of the celebration, an awarding session was also held to appreciate the students’ effort and hard work.
This celebration was more than just an annual event. It was also an important opportunity to teach students about the values of our nation, including integrity, unity, and care for others. As Indonesia celebrates 80 years of independence,MNS hopes that the younger generation will continue to be inspired by the spirit of our national heroes and make positive contributions to build a better future for Indonesia.
We hope this celebration not only creates wonderful memories, but also helps nurture a strong sense of patriotism in every student. After all, love for our country starts with small actions—from our schools and from the young generation who are ready to help build a better Indonesia.
